Movie Night 002 : November 9 | 6 – 9 PM
We're thrilled to announce our much anticipated annual movie night, and this year promises to be truly exceptional.
We're showcasing a fantastic lineup, including student short films from SF Art and Film for Teens, and to top it all off, we'll be closing the evening with the iconic cult classic, 'Vertigo.'
In addition to this fantastic lineup, we're excited to have Film Exchange joining us once again. They have helped curate films shot in San Francisco. Don't forget to follow their podcast for some engaging film discussions!
All of you are cordially invited to bring your own chairs, delicious snacks, and of course, your friends.
We can't wait to see everyone there and make this movie night an amazing experience!

EXHIBIT 002 : October 29 – November 2 | 7 – 9 PM
Coinciding with the annual celebration of The Macabre in both Halloween and Day of the Dead, our exhibit has little to do with either, but appropriately coincides both in aesthetic and theme. The phrase “Ghost in the Machine” was coined by philosopher Gilbert Rye in 1949 as a way to describe Descartes’ concept of dualism, which views the body as separate from the mind.
Our installation superimposes the traditional idea of a Ghost as it haplessly interferes with the mechanics of space. In this case, the “machine” is akin to the inner workings of a film projector and the “ghost” is classic and familiar, embodying an amorphous physiology suggesting a head shrouded in flowing material. Live public activation times will include aural and edible accompaniments.

Panel 001 : June 29 – November 8 | 4 – 7 PM
Over the past two decades, San Francisco has seen an exodus of art and design people, places, and resources. Post Covid, it’s even worse. Our public spaces, from downtown districts to retail centers and workplaces are vacant. Can art and design save the day, not only bringing people back, but creating a vibrant cultural future for the fabric of our city?
LMNL Studio x The Archery present a panel discussion, design charette, and cocktail experience featuring local thought leaders, creative luminaries, developers and urban planners to imagine a future for our city built around art and culture. From Downtown LA to The High Line Park, cities have reinvigorated their public places by using art and design as strategic drivers for community and commerce. Let’s shape a plan to ensure that happens here, too..

EXHIBIT 001 : September 16 – October 24
With “social distancing” now deeply ingrained in our collective consciousness, the ubiquity of the “six foot” rule now guides and limits every interaction. The new constraints have a profound effect on human connection.
What happens when the same rule used to measure Euclidean linear distance begins to curve, halve, twist, reflect and fold? The same purpose of using distance to describe social intimacy is reinterpreted to fulfill new forms, shapes, distances.
